Description

Humble, Relaxed and a Magnificent head of hair.

That's Andy I'm talking about not myself.

I met Andy a while back and we got a chance to have some coffee and talk about his life as a footballer, as well as away from the game.

Andy grew up in Ballinamallard in Northern Ireland, we go back there as he speaks about his childhood and the people who influenced his career. After spending most of his childhood playing for his local club he made the move to Rangers. We touch on moving away from home and working with Walter Smith & Ally McCoist, making his Northern Ireland debut and playing for Rangers in the SPFL & why he stayed when the club were demoted to the 3rd division.

You'll notice throughout this episode Andy is brutally honest and at times doesn't give himself enough credit for what he's done in his career, one that was unfortunately hampered by injuries.

I'm loaded with the cold, hence the croaky tones. My apologies.

Sit back, enjoy and take it easy.
