We start with two, we end with three and some wish we would just end. However we are back with another show that really goes nowhere fast and forever.
It all starts with the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest and how Adam locks in every year. We also mention a potential new member to the Mostly Useless Pancreases Club. The conversation then spirals down to what is the best hot dog and how Nebraska needs to get over themselves.
Seinfeld celebrates an anniversary as we are recording and since it is Adam's favorite show of all time, we have to mention it. We determine that we have modeled this podcast after Seinfeld as it was a show about nothing.
Adam gets to go from U12 baseball that could not break a thin pane of glass to high school ball where they are throwing 90+. The best part of this discussion is how our friend Scott wears a line drive and gets yelled at by a coach because he "screwed up" the rule.
And then Packard joins in! He does a great New York accent as the show starts to get off track. We continue to talk about our baseball experiences from the last week and how Mike and his partner nailed a rare play/call in a college level game Saturday night.
The rosters for the MLB All Star Game was announced on Sunday and we talk about who is in, who is out, why the 1 participant rule should go away and other things around the game.
We all know that culture is a reach for Adam, but this week it has been proven. Adam discloses that he has never seen the "Barber of Seville" by Looney Toons, so watch for a clip later this week just to get him started.
Thanks to Anchor.fm for putting this out to the podcast universe because we have proven that we have no idea what we are doing and could not do this without them. They do it for free and even kick back a penny or two when you listen on one of those platforms. Make sure you download the app and use it to listen to your favorites to help those putting out the work.
Also feel free to find us on Facebook to watch the show. We do once in a while have visual gags or responses that are not given proper justice on the audio only side.
Thanks for listening. Leave us a review and subscribe so you do not miss a single episode of this disaster.
