For All Saints Day, we focus on the reality of the Church. The Church exists in two realities which can hardly be any different. First there is the church militant, where the church on earth strives through suffering and persecutions. Second, there is the church triumphant which celebrates at rest in the presence of God. We see ourselves in both of these pictures. Now we march. Then we rejoice.
