The Magnificat - or Mary's Song - is a bold expression of faith in the God who reverses the fortunes of this World. When the powerful put their thumbs on the weak, when God's people are down-trodden and abused, God bears his mighty arm. He throws down the exalted and lifts up the humble. God does not forget his promises, and all who trust in them have their faith rewarded.
