While Genesis 1 tells the story of the all-powerful, orderly creator God, Genesis 2 shows us a different set of characteristics about God. Namely, that he is deeply personal, that he profoundly cares for his creation, and that he provides. What an amazing thing that God did, to take such care in creating people! Pray that God would remind you daily that He cares for you and desires a personal relationship with you.
