Description

In Mental Health week the Amateur Hour speaks with local cyclist Ali Milne. A welcoming and friendly face in the bunch, he is known for his fearsome racing and competitive nature once the race numbers are pinned on. In 2020, we didn’t see Ali for a while, and as it turned out he was experiencing MH issues and taking a break. In this chat, Ali shares his story with us and doesn’t hold back. He has a renewed take on his role in the world and that of the bike in facilitating conversations. This is a podcast for you to take a quiet moment for. Enjoy the journey Ali takes us on, and if you take anything away, let it be that starting up conversations and listening to those we care about is what will keep us well, as we navigate an increasingly busy world.
