The biggest race of the season. A pure classic. Hilly and hard. This year’s edition of the Peel Classic was all of the above. Throw into that mix a torrential downpour with hail, thunder and lightning and you have a day to remember. This Amateur Hour special episode goes inside the event looking through the lenses of organiser, volunteer and cyclist. Interviews, volunteer briefings and race updates from lead vehicles all intertwine to give you, the cycling fan, a taste of the big event, and the ingredients required for success on the day.
