In this week’s Vegan Academy Podcast Logan Wingate shares with us his inspiring journey of self-discovery. How he went from breakdown to breakthrough. Coaching people to live a healthy holistic lifestyle.

Health isn’t just physical. It’s the combination of emotional, spiritual, mental, physical and nutritional well being.

Logan was already into fitness from an early age. But while working as a personal trainer he never felt that fulfilled in life. He noticed how is the effect on people's health and lifestyle was very modest.

A few years past and even though he looked good, he never felt that good. His health actually kept deteriorating until he had a wake-up call and knew he had to change.

He did his research and plant-based nutrition opened his eyes to a more guilt-free of living. Before he never aligned his consciousness about animals and the environment with what he ate. But now he did, it gave him the morale boost to keep going.

In his work with his clients Logan focuses a lot on mental well-being. He notices an epidemic of stress. A lot of people dealing with negative relationships with food and themselves.

Journaling is one of the key habits he recommends.

Write down what you are grateful for and how you feel throughout your day.

This helps to recognize the patterns of how you feel compared to the events that happen in your day. So you become more aware and can act open them.

People often use the excuse for not being motivated for not doing something.

While the truth is that: “action comes before motivation”

Sitting around waiting for motivation never happens. You have to take action no matter how small that first step, it will get easier.

Being present is vital for staying centered.

People spent so much time on either the past or present without reflecting on the now.

In this podcast Logan goes deeper into the topics of mental and physical well being. The role of wholefoods nutrition and his own personal journey.
