What are your new year's resolutions?

With the 1st of January coming close, many of us will do another attempt at living a healthier lifestyle.

You might start at your local gym, do a detox, or invest in an online course.

But how likely is it that after the first few weeks you will actually continue?

Unfortunately, the odds are stacked against you. And I don't say this to discourage you, in fact, it's the opposite.

I tell you this because I want you to succeed this year. I want you to not make the same mistakes as most people do and actually make this HAPPEN.

What happens with the new year coming up, is that suddenly you have the motivation to make changes. The motivation you don't always have throughout the year.

You say to yourself, this year it will be different, this year I will stick to it.

I will wait until the holidays are over and then I will start. 

But what will make the first of January different than any other day?

It isn't. 

When you depend on motivation to keep you going you are very likely not going to stay consistent with it.

Motivation comes and goes, just like inspiration. 

Not every writer or artist has the inspiration to make their best work every single day. Yet they just keep on doing, put in the work, and learn.

Instead of depending on motivation practice this:

1. Define your Vision

2. Identify your WHY

3. Set a simple SMART Goal

4. Staying consistency

5. Keeping your saw sharp

With this method, you will make lasting lifestyle changes no matter what.
