Brian Deneke was a 19-year old kid in Amarillo, TX who was involved in the punk scene.
Dustin Camp was a 17-year old kid in Amarillo TX who was a football player.
These 2 worlds collided explosively on December 12, 1997. After a night of heavy drinking, Dustin deliberately ran Brian over with his car, left him to die, and went home to sleep.
Dustin was arrested and the trial split a town in two. One side with Brian and the punks, and one with Dustin and the jocks. Unfortunately in this case, nobody wins.
