Brian Shaffer was a 27 year old who was attending Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, OH. After classes let out for Spring Break in 2006, Brian had gone out with friends bar hoping in the Areana District and settled at the Ugly Tuna Saloona with 2 friends around 1:15am for their last round of drinks. At some point during the drink, Brian had stepped away from his friends and disappeared into the night.
Camera footage shows Brian and his friends going into the bar, but there was no footage of him leaving Ugly Tuna Saloona and the only other exit was under construction and said to be too difficult to navigate being sober or intoxicated.
Monday morning, Brian was supposed to get on a flight with his girlfriend Alexis who had planned a trip to Miami, but Brian never showed. Shortly after a missing person report was filed.
Columbus PB scoured camera footage from all the local bars but there was no footage of Brian.
