This week's quick clip recap comes from the 19th episode of SportSquire, Intro to Athletic Development Principles, and highlights the 8th Principle Injury Reduction Programming. Brad speaks to changing the vernacular from injury prevention to injury reduction programming through using Science and knowledge of biomechanics and the knowledge of the mechanism of action of highly prevalent injuries (specific to sport)  to help with training loading patterns that can help to reduce the overall amount of  injuries among the masses with respect to specific sport. It has not been proven that injuries can be prevented with absolute confidence but their is plenty of research to link several factors to injury risk that can be better managed. With attention to those risk factors, individuals can reduce their overall injury risk.
