Description

In this episode David shares he recently attended a leadership training. During this training he had some "aha" moments. Early in this podcast (Ep. 3) he brought up Leader Vs. Manager and who is most effective. While sitting through the training he begins to realize that leadership and management are both necessary. The book "True North" by Bill George and Peter Sim, was used to explain the necessity of both. The book talks about leadership (soft skills-interpersonal) and management (hard skills-administrative). David shares how he recently struggled with his own leader and much of it was due to lack of administrative skills. When he discovers this and focuses on these skills he begins to execute at a much higher rate. David also shares there are new webisodes of "Follow The Path" coming in May.
