In this segment, you will hear Cecilia "CeCe" White discuss the importance of special education, special needs, and how it’s imperative to remove negative stigmas and look for ways to bridge the gap. We as individuals need to really understand what special education is and realize that there are various ways, we all learn, and it comes with being versatile and open to changes. It is not always a one size fits all.
WHO IS CECILIA "CECE"?
Cecilia White, educator, humanitarian, and entrepreneur, is the founder of C3 Consultants LLC which offers tutorial, advocating, and educational services. Cecilia (more affectionately known as CeCe) has a passion for and a gift that enables her to positively impact the lives of young people. Her involvement in the community-at-large demonstrates her commitment to helping society’s youth, especially those that have been labeled “at risk”.
CeCe has functioned as a: volunteer at Rainbow’s Babies and Children’s Hospital, schoolteacher (substituting in inner city schools as needed), childcare administrator, supervisor of group homes for developmentally disabled children, case manager, sex abuse case worker, and the director of the junior choir in her local church. Her efforts continued as she opted to become a foster parent. Currently, CeCe serves as an Exceptional Student Education Specialist within her current school district. She has taught in various positions in Special Education on several school districts as well. Her efforts have earned her the privilege of becoming a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society. Her passion to serve and commitment to noteworthy causes are both welcomed and appreciated.
