"Shocking, but not surprising." Those were the words we heard over and over again as we sat and watched the coup unfold Wednesday afternoon. By the time we recorded our feelings and thoughts on the coup Wednesday night, we had no idea what the next day would look like. We try to unpack what we saw, the white supremacy that fueled this insurrection, and what we would like to see happen. At this time of publication, the president is still in office and those who sowed the seeds of sedition are either still in office or they have resigned.
