Episode 081: Believe in Yourself
What happened the last time you failed?
What happened the last time you were excited about and idea, but when you told somebody, they laughed
Do you have the right mindset to persevere and succeed? Do you have the mindset that will allow you to set that failure or comment aside and continue to pursue your dreams?
You must develop a strong belief in yourself so that you can trust your own thoughts and capabilities regardless of the setbacks you face.
Thomas Edison
His teacher told him he was “too stupid to learn anything.” I don’t know the actual number, I’ve heard everything from 1,000 to 10,000, but he failed over and over again when inventing the light bulb. Lucky for all of us, he believed in himself and kept trying.
I’ve heard that when he was asked about these failures, he said that he didn’t fail 1,000 times, he discovered 1,000 things that did not work.
Walt Disney
was once fired from a newspaper because he was told he lacked creativity
Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen

The first book sold more than 10 million worldwide.
Michael Jordan
“I have missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I have lost almost 300 games. On 26 occasions I have been entrusted to take the game winning shot, and I missed. I have failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.”
