432: Put In The Reps & Build Your Confidence
This weekend I listened to an interview with Damian Lillard where he shared some great advice about putting in the reps to become physically and mentally tough. You can also listen to previous episodes of mine with Tyson Durfey where we talked about the same concept and how it helped him to become a world champion.
- Put in a lot of reps
 - Whether people are watching, or whether you are getting credit for it or not
 - you put the time in, and you do it at game pace
 - you do it with focus
 - you do it while you're holding yourself to a certain standard
 - You get better from the reps, but more than just physically, you get better mentally
 - You get more confident because you've done it so often
 - you've done it when you're tired, when you don't want to
 - Then in the game whether it's 1st quarter, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
 - Get the reps in
 - Know in your heart that you didn't cheat it
 - You put in the time
 - you expect to make your shots because you deserve it
