Fast forward, I worked at 88.9 FM WXPN, Philadelphia PA, home of the NPR Radio Show called, "Live@the World Cafe" for 14 years. I also worked in the Broadcasting Department at "QVC" for 5 years.
I DJ under the name DJ Normal in the bar circuit in Baltimore, MD for 4 years. I had radio show at Morgan State Radio 88.1 FM, Baltimore MD, called, "Jazz 101". "Jazz 101" had interviews with musicians to explain why jazz is so special. The "Cool Jazz" format of the station changed and I lost my show and I continued with interviews with musicians on my on podcast called, "SOMETHING came from Baltimore".
SCFB is now over 150 episodes strong with interviews with John Doe, Swingadelic, Gerald Albright, Samite, Bokante, Kat Edmonson, Al Di Meola, Auntie Hammy, The Beatles Guru, Bodega, The Homeless Gospel Choir, Orrin Evans, GoGo Penguin, Warren Wolf, Joey Alexander, and so much more!
