Dr. Rebecca Heiss has a PhD in Stress Physiology and a background in education. She is also an author and well known speaker on topics such as Blind Spots and what brain science teaches us about gender differences in leadership and communication.

In this podcast we talk about a new legislation passed in California that mandates public companies to have at least 1 woman on their board of directors. We discuss the impact this could have and also what we know about legislating affirmative action. Lastly, Dr. Heiss shares her view on feminism and what we can do to be more mindful of gender differences while ensuring that everyone has equal opportunity and access.
