She is the founder of The Institute for Creative Mindfulness and has authored numerous books on trauma, recovery and healing. She recently co-authored the book ‘Transforming Trauma With Jiu-Jitsu’ with Anna Pirkl, a guide for survivors, therapists and Jiu-Jitsu practitioners to facilitate embodied recovery.
