On episode 140 of Welcome To The Winners Circle, Derek Pang interviews Chris Haueter (IG: @chrishaueter96; www.combatbase.com) a 6th degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt and original member of the "Dirty Dozen” (first 12 non-Brazilian recipients of the BJJ black belt). He started his study of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 1988 taking lessons in Rorion Gracie's garage and in 1996 he received his black belt from his mentor Rigan Machado. He was the first American black belt to compete at the World Jiu-Jitsu Championships, is now the head coach of Combat Base Club (www.combatbase.com; IG: @combatbaseclub) and travels the world spreading his Jiu-Jitsu philosophy of think street, train sport and practice art.
