Every farmer know the importance of the rotation of crops. This is done so it allows the field to replenish the nutrients, it also gets rid of pests that were dependent on that particular crop, it also guards against soil erosion.
Some of them leave the fields fallow. This means nothing is grown, so that the soil can replenish itself and become fertile naturally.
When we live a routine life, we often describe it as a robotic lifestyle... why.... because everything is predictable and safe. This dulls and rusts are senses, skills, strengths, enthusiasm completely. We find ourselves unable to converse properly with someone... let alone trying out new things. This opens the door to unwanted emotions of fear, uncertainty, the feeling of confusion. All the negativity which stays at bay when we are busy, crops up like weeds. Making us doubt and be unsure about everything.
We dread it, as somewhere in our subconcious mind we relate it to death.
Isn't it better to keep ourselves open to everything and anything? Here the point is not success, winning, being proficient, but it is more about testing ourselves, keeping ourselves razor sharp; examining, polishing and equipping ourselves every day... or... replenishing ourselves with the right nutrients to be ready for the new, healthy crop?
