Description

Light and Dark

Our Lord and God is always Himself

All the way to His bright and shining core –

He shines like the Sun, and behaves so forever more.

The eternal powers are not changeable,

Like humans are changeable on their views,

One moment smiling,

The next to be lost to their sad and lonely blues.

The Devil is also always himself,

All the way to his terrible crushing core –

Like a black hole devours everything,

And cannot show mercy, ever at all.

The Lord of Mercy, of Light and heat,

Doesn’t flicker into dense deceit –

The Angel of evil, of obscurity and pressure –

Doesn’t suddenly change and somehow offer us strange treasure…

All the planets that orbit the sun,

Benefit from its light and draw from it daily strength –

Anything that orbits a black hole,

Will inevitably be lost to its crushing depths.

How can you bargain with the Devil,

And expect that he should show you favor,

Some last minute mercy and charity,

And Let you skip freely back to your savior?

How can you suspect the Good, eternal Lord,

Of using his light to somehow hide,

To be a partaker in deception

for a darker purpose inside?

These powers are not so changeable,

Like human are changeable all the time –

They are fully themselves from atom to Light year,

From Adam to right here;

Love is fully love,

Fear is fully fear.

Humans who dance around the black hole of death,

Will be eaten and fully disappear.

Humans who orbit the true sun of the guiding light, heaven sent,

Will be ever clear, and continue unimpeded, in enlightenments' ascent.
