Description

That wry and sneaky serpent,

Who procured that yes through Eve,

Who to darkness became a handmaid,

When by that tree was then deceived.

The crunch then of the Apple

Between the jaws of the virgin tossed

Caused all humanity to grapple,

Be fallen, blind and lost.

It be true to Gods economy

The balance of the world

Both the fall and the fortune

Come to humanity through a young girl.

The yes of Eve is nullified

By the Yes of Mary Virgin Queen

Humanity re-purified

Liberated and cleaned.

The crunch then of the serpents’ head

The skull to meet the jaws –

Under the dainty foot of Mary

Who Her Jesus so adores.

That old snake forswore the doom of man

And entered through a girl –

It is fit to Gods economy that

Who should defeat him should be this pearl.

No other loved Jesus better

No saint a closer bond can boast

Than that of gentle Mary

Who loved her son the most.

All will come to sit with Her,

At the foot of Calvary’s cross –

Her intercession to defer

And protect us from that loss –

Of one thief gone to damnation,

The other safe in grace -

One led to liberation

Inseparable now from Gods embrace.

She prays so for the children,

That we may then incline,

To procure the gift of forgiveness

While there is still yet time.

Her Hope Her Faith Her Charity

Are the workbook to discover

She teaches us better imitation

Of Her Son than any other.

I love Mary, & on this, the 13th of May,

I sing of all her sweetness and

Recommending her heart I say –

Turn then quick to Mary

And through Her Son be saved.
