Are you feeling stuck like you are in the valley of Achor; One trouble after another, One disappointment or defeat after another keeps coming your way?
In Joshua 7 when Achan coveted and took and hid some of the devoted things for his own like silver and gold and a cloak for himself he and his family were stoned and burned and the big heap of stones that still remain is known as the Valley of Achor. Achor means trouble.
Could it be that you have become devoted to destruction? like Achan and the people of Israel did?
Are you covering and hiding those things that you covet more than God's instructions and know full well you shouldn't?
We all want breakthroughs and blessings but we can also be our biggest roadblocks to receiving them.
What things are you devoting your time and energy to that are not in line with what God wills for you?
What are you doing that is against His Word?
It's time to destroy and rid those things from among you so you can climb up out of your valley of Achor.
Obedience unlocks the blessings and breakthroughs.
Let's stop being devoted to destruction and be determined to move out of our valley of Achor and climb unto the high places God has planned for us.
