Aparna Valluri is the Founder and Program director of Shining Speaking Stars, a public speaking and personality development program that was established in January 2016. She is a very passionate proponent of public speaking, especially for school going kids, and she absolutely loves empowering them. She is also an avid contestant in international speech contests conducted by Toastmasters. She appeared on the district stage five times, placing second in 2014 and third in 2018, beating competition from 1,000+ contestants and. In 2010, she placed first in the district speech evaluation contest.
