Gospel - Good news
In classical literature the word “Gospel” designated the reward given for good tidings. In the Bible’s New Testament, the word is used more than 75 times as the writers did their best to describe the indescribable. That God himself came to earth as a baby and then died a criminal’s death so that we could have life. There is no good news better that this news, and the reward for those who are willing to live out this good news, and to share this good news with others is the greatest reward we could ever want. Eternal life with the one who created us! Join us as we explore the four books of the New Testament that contain so much of this “good news” that they come to be known as “Gospels”!
This series will bring us to Easter.
