Sigmas big launch ! Was only 1 lens WTF? Although it looks great and I'm sure it is. Jared Colin tested it today and pictures looked great with a song camera. But this was supposed to be a big product release and all the fuss was over one stinking lens!! Talk about oversell. The 100-400 F5-6.3 DG DN OS $949 usd avail mid July. And they kindly threw in couple of teleconverters as well? The other day they released the 3 primes that the ef-m mount got last october without even telling anyone but this one telephoto lens for sony cameras is some sort of a big deal ! Sony already has this length in its g master range so its not a new lens just a cheaper version. Had me Befuzzeled and pissed off for wasting my time telling you all about it and sitting and watching it for no reason.
Canon on the other hand, Thanks to WWW.canonrumors.com we finally have the release date 9th of July for the fleet of gear they are releasing which are R5,R6 6 lenses and 2 teleconverters ! Now thats a release Sigma ....
Also price and specs for the under estimated R6 details below. This is said to be a high ISO monster more aimed at the photographers where as the R5 is more video centric.
