Sigma had a big leak dropped overnight with their new FP-l camera dropped. Based on the FP series this now has a dedicated EVF and a huge new Sony sensor rumoured to have 60 mp and expands to 120 mp in a special mode!! pricing around the $900 aud so super cheap too this could be a big deal for sigma who has video credentials but lacked any stills rep form their FP range last time around ! rumoured to be dropping tomorrow!!!
Canon announced the XF505 video camera and should be released with the rest of their gear at theNAB show in the 2nd half of his year using the 1" sensor form the 705 this will be another dedicated film beast to play with at an entry level. 15x integrated zoom BP-a batteries so nothing super new but a solid performer coming again.
The EF lenses are set to die out sooner rather then later ! with the first to go is the 200mm L series F2 already not available in some stores !
Canon has a strange patent with touch bar on side of lens doing the rounds as well has some positives, but also the negatives too interesting none the less..
