Wells the Sigma event went off and no real surprise's there. Usual talk about how they made the 35mm lens and what it can do. Always a very technical release form sigma not really exciting stuff unless you're a tech nerd like me. Reviews also went out and they look good ! Very impressed by what it can do and at $500 cheaper then the Sony G master equivelnt at $900 usd, will definitely sell many units.
Canon Rumours announced a CR# rumour for 3 new cine cameras to come this year! The models are c300s,500s & 700 DR (dynamic range). 300 &500 both get 8k super 35mm psi stacked sensor with the 500 pixels a little bigger. 8K 60fps,4K 120fps/ new DPAF system same as R3 rumours/16 stops DR for 300 and 17+ for 500. the 700 DR ranges up to 4K full frame sensor same style but doubles pixel size over the 500 to 9.6um/240fps fast mode/180 fps WDR mode/ and a crazy 20+ stops of DR WOW! Should be released at the NAB show later this year in October , Canon Has another huge year coming ...
Rumours dropped on twitter tosmorning that M2 Chips to replace M1 are already in full production and we should see their release in the new MacBooks later this year !!! cant wait to see how much of a jump form M1 to M2 will be ??
