The big one that will really push electric cars into the forefront and tell the world its electric time ! The F-150 Lightning was unveiled today ! Ford has entered the Full electric market swinging for the fences! And i think have a winner, If they can get americans to buy this version it will definitely mean the end of fossil fuel transport ! Niche things like 11 power points for tools and also being able to power your house in a electricity outage are fantastic sales gimmicks. But the best thing i think ford did is keep it a truck ! The shape that 3- 40 thousand people every year put their hard earned money into buying is what's going to sell them by the bucket loads! its a real truck for workers , posers and anyone else in between this says ford and the electrical part is now just an option to save on fuel ! 230-300 mile range is plenty for a labourer to go to work and come home and head to baseball practise! plenty enough to tow a boat to the lake or ocean ! $40,000-90,000 usd is ok for the states , it means trouble for us in OZ tho as unless they decide to do a res version and sell here it will be a luxury car from base to premium version's and only the rich will be able to afford them ! Time will tell , but i think Ford got this right and will be interesting to see how many cyber trucks and rivian pre orders get cancelled and swapped for this offering ???
The Ram 1500 5th gen is finally in Australian shores to buy released about 3 years ago in states this great ute won many awards and put Ram on top of the quality stakes of the truck market. Having said hat its a model already long in the too and only just now we get to sample the goods, unfair in a global economy. But no one cares about australians anyway so doesn't matter ! New models start form 115,000 with metallic paint and some other tech goodies another 7 grand to complete the package. So even though we are paying luxury prices we only get basic specs !! The harsh reality of living in australia with no car manufacturing anymore and never will be due to massive hourly wages impossible to build anything anymore ! Having said hat this will be he bets ute in australia by far i think far exceeding the current model and the mini utes we only get offered by the car manufacturers cause we cant afford anything nice !
Mark Gurman says the new Macbook pro's possible delivery this year could have a new M1 style chip but twice the grunt ! With 8-10 cores optional and up to 64 gb memory these beasts will dominate the laptop dept. 24" Imacs to hit apple stores as soon as 21st of this month ! no mention during the release of the 21 his will purely be a bigger screen option ! Wonder if they will have the same crap white bezels wrapped around them ???
TSMC the king of chips , has annoyed they have beaten IBM and created the first 1nm chip !!! one about a week later WOW? What next tho ?? we'll quick google says 1 angstrom = .1 of a NM so next year we will have the first 10 angstrom computer chip released !!!😂😂😂😂
