DJI Mini SE the new budget drone was leaked on friday, by a customer who was able to buy one yet again form Walmart before it has even been announced ! great news its only $300 usd for the fly more combo (387 aud) and it is exactly the same in all ways to th e Mavic Mini. Except the controller, it has been given the Mavic Mini 2 controller which is heaps better ! not sure if it gains the ocuvsync 2 that the mini 2 gets but either way this is clearly the best value drone there is !
Apple WWDC Developers conference is on 8th June at 0300 AEST for us people in the future. The talk is obviously the new MacBook pro’s. Which i can’t wait to see and see what other tech they are into over the next 12 months.
Rumours floating around speculating Blood Glucose and alcohol sensors for the watch 7 redesign which will be great for diabetics and drink drivers ! But they still need a rugged version before i buy another one ! Also Apple working on implementing Passport into the iPhone somehow ! tricky task as you then have to get it ratified as ok to use by at least all he developed countries which will lose revenue charging a small fortune for your passport ? Also lastly iPhone 13 apparently getting 1tb storage, which in large raw files and 4k video basically a necessity !
Ford will be announcing the new Maverick on 8th June 6pm AEST This will be smaller then the ranger. Built on a car style chassis. AWD system from the bronco , CVT auto trans too. Engines will be possibly a 2.5ltr turbo petrol and a hybrid engine with 149kw petrol and 88kw electric motor. Obviously not a real 4WD but more of a occasional dirt road jaunt ,you might say. Of course its only going to be LHD and not come to australian shores. For us older people you might remember we had the maverick here for a while and it shared the patrol platform with nissan for a while before disappearing like our whole auto industry has !
Canon Rumours talking about new patents for Canon glass for RF mount ! But .. its APS-C ??? Does this mean the M50 is getting an RF mount ?? Im thinking so, would be great for video on a budget , if they can get clog in it . But strange as aps-c i thought would be gone for Canon as they have let it fail hard over the last couple of years ? Patents are 15-45,18-45,16-45,20-45 all f4-6.7 …
A rare moose Lens is going up for auction ! A Canon 1200mm EF L F5.6 lens one of possibly only 20 in existence as made to order for $100000 usd back in 93’. CR reports that a few have sold over past couple of years for over 150 grand usd which is a crazy number for a lens. It takes a year to grow the fluorite that use in the custom lens and im sure that this will hit over 200 grand in the current overpriced market !
