Rivian R1T dual-cab ute and R1S seven-seat SUV spotted in Australia, Chasing Cars website obtained pictures of the 2 electric Utes getting unloaded at Sydney airport.
This is great news as leads to the conclusion the Rivian is looking to expand its exports to Australia sooner rather than later! Other electric trucks like the F150 and Cybertruck aren’t even interested in our shores yet so would have to be a conversion type import with no support ? So this is great news for me except that they won’t be cheap base model is roughly $100 grand aud even in the states. So after the stupid luxury car tax is put on it will be the same as current big Utes coming in around the $150-200 grand mark. Hardly Tradie friendly ??? But Toyota and ford should be worried this will be eyeing off that dual cab market which is the biggest segment in Australia
