Sara Freedwoman is the Owner/Founder of FreedWoman Retreats. She created FWR as a way to connect women in a safe space under the auspices Mother Nature. Sara has dreamed of living in the mountains for years and is so grateful to finally be living in Montana. She’s been facilitating group trips since college, feeling most alive when guiding others and creating community. When she is not leading retreats, Sara works in the finance world. In her spare time, she snowboards, hikes, climbs, camps, paints, and loves traveling to new places. She chats with the host, Misty Marcum in detail about hosting the retreats. How it all began and her big move to Montana from the Philly area.. She describes how a supportive community can grow us and build our own strength.
