That's right, the mythic marine of marvel majesty is ditching heavy weapons for katanas and leaving his tried and true memento mori behind with it. In the wake of mounting pressure from outside sources to retire the character and emblem Marvel appears to be splitting the difference with their new Punisher title slated to launch in 2022. Will the redesign last? Will it please fans? Or is it just another case of a studio bending the knee?
