Description

This week we speak with Dr. Keramet Reiter, a criminology professor from the University of California, Irvine, who studies and advocates for prisoners’ rights and the use of long-term solitary confinement. We cover the pros and cons of abolishing solitary confinement and prison in America, inmate rights during the COVID-19 pandemic, and current initiatives being pushed for more equitable opportunities after release.
