Mohan Rakesh was known for his plays. When his play "Ashadh Ka Ek Din" came out first, it got awards and critical acclaim and influenced Hindi theatre forever. "Ashaadh Ka Ek Din" along with his other notable plays 'Aadhe Adhure' and 'Lehron Ke Rajhans' have become classics of Indian theatre...performed by thespians and aspiring theatre artists alike. I am not sure if he wrote very many kid's stories or even ever came out with a collection. If someone knows better, please let me know too!
