Serenity is the latest hot topic when the conversation of female bosses in the world of entertainment happens. Serving as the General Manager of Billion Dollar Baby Entertainment, Serenity is no stranger when it comes to be being self-made as an entrepreneur.
As a military brat, she was born in North Carolina and raised in California. She knew early on that the music industry had peeked her interest at 20 years old, and began her journey forward. After attending, San Jose State, where she studied journalism and mass communications, Serenity tested her skills in the business service industry as the leading regional director for Ranstad Staffing.
While progressing in her career, she still fostered her love for the arts — which is how she landed the role she currently serves in hip hop.
“I like to think of myself as immersed in the hip hop culture with a sprinkle of Jesus,” she says.
“God has always been the center of every move and decision I’ve made,” said Serenity. “Faith is what I lean on and is why I’m reminded everyday that I can do all things.”
Serenity is a daughter, sister, friend and mother of four — looking to make her mark in this world one day at a time.
