Chaol takes Celaena’s confession about as well as we all expected, i.e. not well. He does warm up to the idea eventually and his birthday ends on a high note for both of them. Poor Dorian is still spirally and his downward journey leads him back to Baba Yellowlegs. Poor decision all around, especially when we find out Roland followed him there. After a rather fun visit to a broom closet, Celaena has a rather nasty fight with Nehemia about the princess’s proposed rebellion.
