We get a heartbreaking reminder of the hope Nehemia inspired in her people through the eyes of a young girl from Ellywe deep in the mines. Upon hearing the devastating news, a revolt begins in the mines with a swing of an ax. Chaol orders a full guard to keep Celaena in her rooms and under no circumstances are they to try to stop any escape plans. Dorian is left reeling with unanswered questions following his outburst of power and struggles with the King’s Council. Celaena comes to a gruesome conclusion and finally gets up from her chair by the fire.
