Nesta gives the ultimate Stair Master a whirl and fails miserably…in front of Cassian. Poor Azriel is subjected to the first of many awkward meals in the dining room. After a true struggle, Nesta joins Cassian again for training, i.e. sitting on a cold rock doing nothing. In an attempt to distract from her dark thoughts, Nesta enters a quaint store with a gorgeous and witty store owner, Emerie! Her day ends with some time in the library where she meets a feisty acolyte named Gwyn.
