James 1:2-4, Judges 20:22, Proverbs 27:17. Through his battle with prostate cancer, Rufus has learned the difference between knowing God and experiencing God. Rufus reminds us that when we are fearful and discouraged, God is there with us even if we don't feel his presence. When the Enemy aims to discourage us in trials, we need encouragement from God and from others. Therefore, Rufus challenges us with the question: When was the last time you encouraged someone?
