EPISODE OVERVIEW

The story of BWS usually stops after the riot but, there was a regeneration that built a NEW BWS.  Some say it was bigger and better than the first!  A few pillars of this regeneration were the church, black professionals, and the unrelenting fight from black Tulsans to regain what was taken from them.

From 1922 - the 1940s the Black community continued to thrive, but amongst other things, desegregation and free-market economics aided in their decline by the 1950s. Check out today's episode where we break it all down!
