Rabbi Akiva Niehaus is the Kashrus Operations Manager and a Rabbinic Coordinator for the cRc. As Chairman of the AKO Liquor Committee, he enjoys researching new trends and developments in the liquor industry. After taking a comprehensive course and a research trip to Japan in February 2017 to learn first-hand about Sake, Japanese rice wine, he presents an overview of the relevant kashrus issues.
