John 3:4-8 NLT
“What do you mean?” exclaimed Nicodemus. “How can an old man go back into his mother’s womb and be born again?” [5] Jesus replied, “I assure you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. [6] Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. [7] So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ [8] The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit.”
Being Born Again is being subdue into the life God intended for us. The life that has relationship with God and grow in his knowledge.
1 Peter 1:23 AMP
for you have been born again [that is, reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose] not of seed which is perishable but [from that which is] imperishable and immortal, that is, through the living and everlasting word of God.
YOU CAN BE BORN AGAIN THROUGH THE WORD OF GOD.
This is done by submitting our lives completely to God through faith in Jesus Christ.
This comes with a responsibility because you are going against a tide (world systems and structures).
Jesus replied, “I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
John 3:3 NLT
The responsibility of a believer (being born again).
Galatians 6:10 AMP
So then, while we [as individual believers] have the opportunity, let us do good to all people [not only being helpful, but also doing that which promotes their spiritual well-being], and especially [be a blessing] to those of the household of faith (born-again believers).
The first benefit is the kingdom of God. The highest achievement of any human.
