THE MESSAGE OF CHRISTMAS
Matthew 1:23 NLT
“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”
Matthew 1:18 NLT
This is how Jesus the Messiah was born. His mother, Mary, was engaged to be married to Joseph. But before the marriage took place, while she was still a virgin, she became pregnant through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Abraham is the father that start the genealogy of the birth of Jesus Christ. God has already ordained the process from the beginning of time.
After the erasing of human kinds in the time of Noah still human race did not stop sinning, God had to initiate Abraham strategy to save human race.
God the creator of the universe is not shock by anything or unaware of any event. He pre-destined Jesus Christ to save us. You are not an accident.
I was waiting that the genealogy should fall on Mary the virgin mother of Jesus but to my surprise Joseph is the descendant to Jesus and Joseph never slept with Mary to have Jesus but Matthew could not erase Joseph from the equation.
Matthew 1:16 NLT
Jacob was the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary. Mary gave birth to Jesus, who is called the Messiah.
• Marriage is not sex but partnership of two people in destiny to fulfill a purpose.
• God will always break a routine to bring his manifestation.
• God has pre-destiny our purpose on earth, seek him and he will put you in the path.
Matthew 1:19 NLT
Joseph, to whom she was engaged, was a righteous man and did not want to disgrace her publicly, so he decided to break the engagement quietly.
WE CANNOT FAULT THE PROCESS AND STILL EXPECT GOD TO WORK WITH US.
If Joseph was not righteous or know God, he won't believe the angel or Holy Spirit. God need us to know him and walk in his light so that his instruction will not be strange to us.
Matthew 1:25 NLT
But he did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus.
