Meet Steph. A wild woman with a beautiful heart and love for the outdoors. While once on a path to do occupational therapy, Steph realized that she was not about to spend her 9-5 indoors. After being introduced to hiking and backpacking, the fire was lit for her love of outdoor recreation. Since then, she’s guided in both Montana and Wisconsin doing trips both on land and on the water! In our conversation, we touch on 3 keys to accessibility in the outdoors, the unique challenges of being a woman in the outdoor industry, and how Steph encourages others to be a voice for marginalized people in our society.

"I think women have a unique talent for being able to see the forest and the trees at the same time. We’re able to sort of see the bigger picture and see the vision, but also see the unique things that are happening and be able to fix it" - Bozoma Saint John
