In lieu of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this episode is dedicated to all of my “Pink Sisters” who are Breast Cancer Survivors and also to those of you who may still be in the fight and those who have fought a good fight, my thoughts and prayers are with each of you. To my survivors, I celebrate with you and I truly mourn with those of you who may have lost a loved one to Breast Cancer. In this episode, I talk about my own personal battle and how diseases of all kinds can manifest in many different forms. King David in the Bible also had his own personal struggles with a disease, which caused him to suffer pain as well as grief that impacted and changed his life, through the loss of someone else's life. Although we may experience losing a loved one or we may even suffer from our own sickness or disease, I want to encourage you to never lose hope. You will find that cancer or any sickness is no match for the One who came to heal us from all of our diseases. There is no greater comfort than knowing that God will give you Beauty for Ashes, the oil of joy for mourning and a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
