John chapter 1 verses 1-4 says, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men." Everything which has ever been created came into being, because God spoke it into existence with a Word. Our words are powerful. They bring spirit and life. The Word was here in the beginning and it will be here in the end. Isaiah 40:8 says, "The grass will wither and the the flower will fade: but the word of our God shall stand forever." We have the power and authority to speak according to God’s Will and God's Word and recognize that our words do have the power to change the atmosphere.
