Kwanzaa Learning 2020 - 2021:
Kwanzaa was created in 1966, after the riots of WATTS in 1965.
Dr. Maulana Karenga, who chairs the African Studies department at California State University, Long Beach, established
7 Principles for 7 days that we can practice throughout the year. Making it a Pan-African holiday celebration, which brings value, goals and substance back into the Black family, the community and cultural awareness.
